WBWCD employs full-time employees in five different departments with additional seasonal employees hired during the Irrigation Season – approximately April through mid-October.

The District is lead by a General Manager who has two Assistant General Managers, a Finance/Human Resource Manager along with Department Managers for the departments listed below.

THE ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT is staffed by an accountant, purchasing assistant, secretary/receptionist and an administrative assistant.

THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT includes staff engineers, a GIS specialist, an inspector, and a technician.

THE MAINTENANCE & HEAVY EQUIPMENT DEPARTMENT includes crew chiefs, a mechanic, a welder, heavy equipment operators, and general maintenance workers with skills in concrete, pipe repair, carpentry and other related areas.

THE POWER & IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT includes electricians, power plant operators, and canal and irrigation operators.

THE MUNICIPAL & INDUSTRIAL DEPARTMENT is staffed by chemists, pipeline operators, a solids handling specialist, water treatment plant maintenance workers, water treatment plant managers and water treatment plant operators.
