Secondary Water Metering Project

Irrigation Season Begins

As the irrigation season begins, please follow these conservation practices:

The 2017 water supply is better than average and reservoirs are expected to fill. Regardless of winter precipitation levels, the District strongly encourages all secondary water users to utilize proactive conservation practices in an effort to reduce waste of this important resource.

Weber Basin Water Conservancy District invites and urges you to continue to follow conservation practices and policies that have been previously implemented.

These measures include the following, and will continue to be enforced:

  • No watering between the hours of 10am-6pm
  • No excessive use (long run times or everyday irrigation)
  • No significant sprinkler system disrepair (broken heads, etc.)

Three notifications for non-compliance may result in loss of secondary service. We thank you for your continued compliance with these measures to sustain our water supply through this irrigation season.
