Weber Basin Water Conservancy District is accepting applications for a regular full-time experienced Staff Engineer. Must be at least 18 years old. This position will be working at our main campus location in Layton, UT.

Level I: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in civil engineering or related. At least one year of related experience preferred. Expected starting wage for this level is $70k-$91k

Level II: At least four years of related experience. Valid registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) from the State of Utah, required. If registered in another state, the ability to obtain a Utah registration within six (6) months of hire. Expected starting wage for this level is $75k-$98k

Level III: At least eight years of related experience. Valid registration as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) from the State of Utah, required. If registered in another state, the ability to obtain a Utah registration within six (6) months of hire. Skilled in the use of computer applications relevant to the engineering field. Ability to read, explain and prepare engineering plans and specifications. Knowledge of administrative principles and techniques, including planning, budgeting, and safety. Expected starting wage for this level is $81k-$106k. Full salary range is $81k-$130k.
